SYMPTOMS OF THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM THAT CAN BE TREATED BY THAI & CHINESE TRADITIONAL MEDICAL SCIENCES

Symptoms that are common and can be treated using both Thai and Chinese traditional medicines.

  1. Cervical Spine DisordersCaused by bending the head frequently and for a long time until the muscles, nerves, and tendons become stressed. Symptoms are caused by sleeping using the wrong type of pillow which can give you a stiff neck. When there is pressure on the nerve endings, there will be pain, numbness, or weakness in the arm muscles. If this occurs you should see a doctor as soon as you can.
  2. Frozen Shoulder : This is very common in both elderly males and females. It is caused by a degeneration of the ligaments around the joints and the tip of the collarbone due to a buildup of tartar around the joints. Some people who have had an accident and dislocated their shoulder will suffer from shoulder pain radiating down their upper arm, which can have an adverse effect on sleep quality.
  3. Unstable Knee joints or GOUT: Stabilized knee joint degeneration or age-related osteoarthritis usually occurs in women aged 60 years and older, and premature osteoarthritis is increasing in younger working people. Football players or runners can suffer pain, inflammation, swelling, redness, and heat in the knee joint. Their joints can also click when standing up and/or walking.
  4. Herniated Nucleus Pulposus : A herniated disc causes back pain that radiates down the leg to the calf or behind one of the ankles. There is pain that is very painful. Some people have pain in the back of their knees, calf pain, and numb toes after playing sports and mistake it for muscle inflammation.
  5. Migraines : are more common in women than men. Symptoms include a one-sided headache in the forehead, temple, or neck accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to sound and/or light. Sometimes you will feel a headache from tight muscles, with pain on both sides as if your head is being squeezed. Many people think that if they take painkillers, the migraine will go away, but this may not be the correct treatment. If migraines occur frequently, you should consult a doctor to determine the most appropriate methods for prevention, correction, and treatment.
  6. Snoring : Risk factors may be caused by the chin bone that is small or slightly back or an abnormal appearance of the nose structure. Snoring may also be the cause of sleep apnea due to blockages in the airways. It is considered to be risky and have the potential of being dangerous.
  7. Parkinson's : It is a degenerative disease of the brain caused by a lack of dopamine.It is most commonly found in people aged 60 years and over and in middle-aged people who have a family history of this disease before. It often begins with tremors in the hands, arms, legs, jaw, face, and muscle spasms, and can also affect your movements and speech. If left untreated for a long time, it may become very difficult to treat.
  8. Coronary artery disease or Stroke : Currently found in the age group of 45 years and above, who suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and high blood fat content. It also Includes those who smoke heavily or have family members who have had these problems before. The initial symptoms are a crooked mouth or face,where the corners of the mouth droop.There can be numbness in one half of the body,your limbs have no strength,you have difficulty speaking clearly or you can't speak at all.You may have a sudden headache,dizziness and/orblurred vision, so ifany of these symptoms occur, you must immediately find medical assistance.
  9. The Hip Joint Wobbles : Mostly found in the elderly due to wear and tear of the joint surface who suffer from pain in the hip while walking or running.This type of pain may be a warning sign of the possibility of hip dysplasia.
  10. Sprained ankle : is an acute injury to the tendon that holds the ankle in place, when the ankle twists away from the foot quickly. As a result, the tissues around that area are injured and bruiseduntil torn. In some cases, the bones may also get broken. The elderly are especially at risk and need to be careful, as well as people who are overweight or heavy-tackling athletes. This also includes women who wear high heeled shoes regularly. These people are more likely to suffer a sprained ankle than other people.
  11. TRIGGER FINGER : is an abnormality of one or more fingers that cannot bend or stretch normally. This condition is caused by changes in the tendon sheath at the base of the fingers, which thickens, swells and makes the sheath tighten around the tendon causing restricted movement. This condition is more commonly found in women than men,and is associated with diabetes and/or rheumatoid arthritis.
  12. Paralysis : Muscle weakness of one or both arms and/or legs. Problems with balance, such as being unable to sit, stand, or walk although the muscles still have strength. Difficulties with communication,global aphasia,motor aphasia anddysarthria which usually occurs in patients with weakness on the left side of their body. Numbness or pain on one side of the body, problems with memory, thinking, and learning, and having problems swallowing food. Also problems with controlling urine and feces, and feeling tired easily.
